W hy does no one care about children’s ideas when the architects of our g-ray are children? Why aren’t children given a say when speaking in an environment? Because adults always think they’re more knowledgeable. They don’t care much about the opinions of younger individuals. When a child is the future of a society, it is a big mistake that can be made not to consult even an opinion. It is difficult to instill this in adults after reaching a certain age. Therefore, this should be done at a young age. If you want to educate a person, you have to educate the child. Because childhood is the most important stage of human life. “Recognizing the child is as difficult as recognizing history, civilization and culture.”
Here, too, pedagogues have an important duty. This is the main factor in the need for them when you look at them. Considering that it would be easy to get to know the child more closely by dividing them into categories, branches such as pedagogy, educational science, child psychology and pedology have been formed. If they do their jobs properly, people who are useful to society are raised. Because the education received as a child will be the individual’s guide for life. Our ancestors said, “Man is what he is in seventy.” Otherwise, you will not be able to change an individual whose character is in place and who has his own truths in the future.
So, what to teach the child?
Or how should the child be educated? I think life should be taught. Wrong and right must be taught. First of all, sacrifice and tolerance should be taught. The negative effects of being “I” centered should be shown. It should not be taught by telling, but by showing what exists. Children often don’t believe what they hear, they want to see. When they are told, “I bought you something,” that’s not enough for them. They want to see, they want to be sure. It can be suspected that their psychology will deteriorate while showing them.
But if we doubt it and avoid teaching them, we will raise selfish children who only think about themselves. This returns to society as the opposite effect. What would life be like if we were the only human being, or even the only living thing in the world? I think it would definitely be an unbearable place. Even when we are going to drink the simplest water, we need someone.
We need a lot of people to provide us with that water, to put the water and produce the cup to drink. In short, we cannot exist alone. It should never be detached from the maxim that “every human being owes his existence to others.” While we need others, we have no purpose without them. Every human being exists to serve the existence of another.
According to J.J. Rousseau, the child should not be brought up by threats, punishment, discipline and force. I very much agree with that. I am completely opposed to the idea that the threat has an impact on a child’s education. Because a work done by pressure cannot be benefited. The child must do what he is supposed to do of his own accord. This method will definitely be more effective in the child’s learning. Or instead of imposing a direct punishment, he should be expected to take it from nature and correct it.
I want to slowly move on to tidying up my writing. Educating the child is a very arduous task. Because when you educate a child, you’re also educating a community. They should not be looked upon as children, but as parents of the future, or as individuals who perform one of every profession necessary for the order of society. The main thing is to educate, and the individual can do the learning if he wants to.
The main purpose of education is not to be informed, but to take action.
